Jules of Pancakes & French Fries is doing a William Morris Project every Thursday during 2012. She did this last October and I got really excited after reading through all her posts to start purging and 'projecting' based on the same standard: "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." Naturally when she announced a weekly challenge in 2012, and invited others to join her, I started planning. Here is the record of my efforts, thanks for visiting!

Here's my list of things to do in 2012: {So far I've done 62 out of 167 things to do. Notice how both numbers are growing?}
I tend to think of things as I walk through the house, so I am starting at the front door.
Entry/Front Porch:
Paint the outside of the Front door
Fill the built in planter with succulents or other drought hardy plants
Find seating for the porch
Replace the porch light
Replace the mailbox
New doormat
Remove the horrible broken storm door and properly weather seal the front door. {or find a suitable replacement for the storm door}
Coat hooks and/or entry table for bags, boots, etc.
Refinish inside of the front door
Entry rug
Living room:
Fix giant crack in the ceiling
Patch holes
Paint
Clean ceiling
Clean fireplace bricks
Remove fireplace screen
Fix sofa cushions
Re-cover wooden rocker seat
Re-upholster leather rocker
Replace rug
Fix cedar chest lid
Fix arc lamp
New lampshade for brass lamp
Replace switch-plates/outlet covers
Dining:
Patch holes
Paint
Clean ceiling
Bamboo blinds for sliding door
Replace sliding door with french doors
Refinish table top
Fix chair wheels
Find one or two more rolling chairs
Fix gap in floor trim along bathroom wall
Replace switch-plates/outlet covers
Remove awful built in shelves in the entry to the kitchen
Trim out the opening to match the other doorways in the house.
Hallway:
Organize and paint coat closet
Organize linen closet
New knobs for linen closet
Paint
Replace light fixture
Replace switch-plates/outlet covers
Main Bathroom:
Clean and organize cupboards
Figure out what to use the drawers and under sink cabinets for
Re-install laundry chute
Remove gross old track left over from shower doors
Replace ceiling fan
Fix drywall around the shower
Replace knobs on cabinets
Replace moldy faucet knobs on sink and shower
Install new lights
Paint
Replace Mirror
Replace towel bar
Install hooks behind door
Replace flooring
Replace switch-plates/outlet covers
Bedroom #1:
Remove mini-blinds
Patch holes
Paint
Replace switch-plates/outlet covers
Install wiring track thing for cords that hang down from the TV
Find a new small speaker for TV
Find or make a media cabinet to house cable box/dvd player, etc.
Organize and clean out upper shelf in closet
Make shoe shelves
New curtains or bamboo blinds
Add a few hooks to closet for belts, bags, hats, etc.
Bedroom #2:
Remove mini-blinds
Patch holes
Paint
Replace ceiling fan with a light
Replace switch-plates/outlet covers
New curtains or bamboo blinds
Clean out unnecessary items from closet
Donate books that aren't amazing
Fix small wardrobe door hinges
Re-arrange furniture so that it makes more sense
Find and implement storage boxes or baskets for closet shelf
Find a bigger bookshelf
Get rid of extra mattress
Bedside lamps
Bedroom #3:
Remove mini-blinds
Patch holes
Paint
New curtains
New desk or work table
Replace switch-plates/outlet covers
Work area storage
Find a tall bookcase
Frame vintage print
Create and install closet organizer
Kitchen:
Patch holes
Remove Wallpaper

Replace sink strainers until I replace the sink
Fix cabinet over the fridge so that the bottom doesn't fall out
Add shelf above fridge for radio
Remove paper towel holder
Replace knobs
Refinish cabinet fronts
Silverware and utensil drawer organizers
Clean out junk drawers-forever
Replace sink and faucet
Clean and repair area under sink that has been leaked on by the current broken sink
Add a towel hook
Rug
Find a cabinet and counter for area left of stove
New back splash behind stove

Create medicine cabinet area/storage
Garage:
Clean out moving boxes and other recycling
Get rid of mattress

Basement:

Clean out storage room
Yard:

Prune Rose by garage door
Prune or remove dinosaur Rose by the gate
Prune mystery tree in the front yard

Enlarge driveway with pavers
Add a pathway to side door
Fix steps down into backyard from the side door
Add stairs from the deck to the backyard

Office:
Reduce my 'supplies' by 50%
